    Research Interests

    France Gauvin has been a Pediatrician at CHU Sainte-Justine since 1999. After ten years spent in Intensive Care, she is now working in the Emergency and Pediatric Palliative Care Departments. She remains active in clinical research, specializing in the following types of research: test validation, epidemiological study (incidence, risk factors), clinical trials and systematic review.

    She is interested in blood transfusions, particularly its related respiratory complications, and palliative as well as end-of-life care. Her other major interests include sepsis, mechanical ventilation and renal insufficiency.

    Collaborations: Réseau stratégique of the FRSQ Réseau en santé respiratoire.
