No Child Should Spend the Holidays in the Hospital

No Child Should Spend the Holidays in the Hospital

“I like the holidays because I know there are lots of people thinking about me. It’s like there’s a little bit of magic coming to visit me in the hospital.” — Eli, 7 © lg2

The Tree of Lights is back at Sainte-Justine, ready to shine all the way to the top and put a twinkle in children’s eyes.

Starting December 1, the 18th annual Sainte-Justine Tree of Lights campaign invites people from across Quebec to spark hope for the families who will be celebrating this special time of year in the hospital, and the professionals who take such good care of them.

This year’s campaign ad depicts the stark contrast between what the holidays are like inside and outside the hospital. The young patients at Sainte-Justine can only marvel at all the festive lights from afar — instead of enjoying the magic of the season at home with their families.
