International Level Knowledge Center

The Education Centre of Sainte Justine is one of the largest and most successful in Canada. Our pediatric medical students rank number one at the Royal College exam. We train medical and allied health care students in pediatrics and obstetrics medicine for the Province of Quebec.

Our programs on continuous education and knowledge translation serve health professionals and medical doctors of Quebec in obstetrics and pediatrics. Knowledge transfer programs in pediatrics and obstetrics are developed through close collaboration between research and education to incorporate proven knowledge into clinical practice inside and outside the hospital and in other health facilities in the province via telemedicine.

Transfer of new knowledge, resulting from the research center and analysis of literature, is achieved by the Mother-Child Centre of Knowledge. This Centre combines theoretical teachings, simulation techniques and training in real situation. Thanks to its telemedicine center, which is dedicated to mothers and their children, the Centre offers a wealth of reliable information and participates in the education of caregivers, medical doctors and also patients and their families.
