An Organizational Structure that Creating Synergy

In order to crystallize the synergic and permanent vision between clinical teams, teachers, researchers, managers, and its evaluators, physical proximity isn't enough. CHU Sainte-Justine has thus adopted an organizational structure which promotes creativity, innovation and interactivity with all its partners.

The clinical program-based structure, which was adopted at the end of the 90s, allows the institution to provide clinical care to the population and is conducive for the creation, transfer, and evaluation of medical and clinical knowledge, by combining our teams with the patients and their families.

This transformation of the health care organization model requires a proactive and participative approach and the development of a change management culture, which is supported by the recent introduction of a contextualized health management school.
