Health Care Organization Network

CHU Sainte-Justine is also a health care organization network that is conscious of its responsibility towards Quebec's population. For many years, we have been a reference point for the entire province of Quebec as well as a leader in the improvement and transformation of the healthcare system. We offers our expertise to doctors and professionals in pediatrics and obstetric.

CHU Sainte-Justine is also involved in projects and deliberations with governments, universities, other national and international institutions, research organisations and teaching establishments. This role in the healthcare network is supported by the creation of the Network Activity Center which was developed by the CHU Sainte-Justine in order to collaborate with all partners in care, specialized services, rehabilitation, health promotion, teaching, research and evaluation.

CHU Sainte-Justine is also the partner of choice for corporations for developing new products, a result of collaboration with teams in all fields of expertise. These fields include construction planning for hospitals, research, technological innovation, teaching, sharing architectural concepts guided with evidence-based data respecting durable environmental criteria.

Other fields like communication and information technologies, biomedical engineering, are at the center of various partnerships with specialized organizations. The clinical pharmacological approaches based on individual patient prescriptions and the mother-child pharmacodynamic allows for specific and unique collaboration with the pharmaceutical industry in order to continuously improve knowledge in this field and the care of this population, which is often not included in traditional research.

On an international level, CHU Sainte-Justine continues to uphold a reputation of excellence. Its international relations comprise of three main areas: institutional, humanitarian and commercial. It is well-positioned in the francophone world after the creation of the ‘Réseau mere-enfant de la Francophonie’ in 2002. There is a community of shared knowledge and practices between 20 French institutions specializing in mother and child healthcare around the world. CHU Sainte-Justine also collaborates with heath care centres and humanitarian organizations on five continents.
