Leading partner in mother-child research across the globe

The CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center is a global leader in mother-child research. We carry out fundamental, clinical, epidemiology, evaluative, and knowledge transfer research in the health of children, teenagers, and mothers.

The Center enjoys international recognition for its leadership in finding innovative prevention methods, faster and less invasive treatments, as well as developing personalized approaches to medicine. On an average each year we take part in thirty international conferences and conventions and over 500 studies are published in high impact journals and this number keeps growing.

Research work falls under the following six research areas:

Committed to sharing our cutting-edge knowledge and state-of-the-art facilities with researchers worldwide, our research Center enters into partnerships with other renowned mother-child institutions. By doing this we provides international partners with a team of over 1200 people, including over 200 researchers and clinician-researchers and 450 graduate students, many of who are part of international teams that carry out projects within the Center’s facilities or also of those who are its partners.
