Sainte-Justine School of Context-based Health Management (EGSJ)
Context-based teaching
The Sainte-Justine School of Context-based Health Management (EGSJ) was created in 2009 by Sainte-Justine University Hospital Centre Directorate General for the purpose of spearheading the institution’s organizational shift. This organizational shift is connected in particular with the “Growing Up Healthy” modernization project that will result, by 2016-2018, in a 65% expansion of the CHU physical capacity and of 30% growth in terms of human resources. This shift was also crucial to help the university hospital better adapt to the growing constraints of the environment, and the new forms of governance required.
The guiding principle of this Management School is founded on a context-based notion of health management, in response to management’s expressed needs and by educators originating from various management schools or partners from the education sectors, who all share the very same vision of excellence and innovation, research and development, a vision made practical in terms of the context and evolving along with it.
