Clinical Excellence in Maternal and Foetal Health

Currently, CHU Sainte Justine provides a broad spectrum of services from health promotion and prevention, to tertiary-quaternary care and rehabilitation programs in three geographically distinct facilities. We have a staff of more than 5000 employees with 500 physicians. We teach 4000 students each year, perform 5000 day surgeries, treat 200,000 patients in clinics, see 62,000 patients in the emergency room and provide round-the-clock care to 18,000 inpatients.

Pediatrics and Obstetrics tertiary and quaternary services include pediatric surgery in cardiac, vascular and neurology; all pediatrics specialties; organ transplant; oncology and hematology. We are also a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Centre which receives severe trauma cases from the entire Province of Quebec.

CHU Sainte-Justine is also the reference center for deafness detection, chronic pain management and Attention Deficit Disorder in children. We have unique expertise in the fields of genetics, molecular biology and clinical pharmacology allowing for customized medicine for mother and children. But our biggest achievement is the humanization of care a quality that is at the forefront of every interaction we have with our patients.
