Social media and netiquette

CHU Sainte-Justine on social media

CHU Sainte-Justine is present on social media for the purpose of communicating with its different audiences. Follow our pages to learn more about:

  • smaller and bigger everyday events at the Mother and Child Centre
  • books from our publishing house
  • our health tips
  • and much more!

All of your messages and comments are given careful attention. We get lots of messages from families for whom CHU Sainte-Justine has made a difference in their children's lives. Know that all of these messages are forwarded to the teams concerned, either by email or by being published in our internal magazine.

Although we appreciate your messages and comments, our exchanges must be governed by simple rules to ensure they are acceptable to all. It is therefore important to be aware of our netiquette.

Netiquette

Fans are invited to interact with us on our different platforms, and we will do our best to respond as soon as possible. As a space for discussion, we are counting on fans to behave appropriately to ensure conversations remain amicable. All comments posted will be reviewed by the administrators and CHU Sainte-Justine is not responsible for comments left by Internet users.

CHU Sainte-Justine reserves the right to delete any comment or post that:

  • is abusive, defamatory, obscene, degrading or insulting;
  • infringes on copyrights;
  • makes reference to or incites illegal practice;
  • is posted for either commercial, political, religious, sectarian or propaganda purposes.

All comments and suggestions are welcome.  However, posting comments and reviews on Facebook is not the ideal way to express your dissatisfaction with specific, identified and identifiable individuals, given the site's public nature.

Should you wish to share your dissatisfaction or make a complaint regarding an individual, please use the Ombudsman - complaints and quality services complaint form. Any negative comment about CHU Sainte-Justine staff and doctors will be reported to Facebook.

Please note that no diagnostic or assessment of medical problems or questions about patient records will be discussed on our social media accounts.

Happy exchanging!
