  • Keith K. Murai, PhD
    • Director | Centre for Research in Neuroscience
Professor | Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery
Leader | Brain Repair and Integrative Neuroscience (BRaIN) Program

      Montreal General Hospital

Astrocytes are key partners for neurons in the healthy brain and contribute to the physiology and homeostasis of neural circuits. This seminar will focus on the complexity and heterogeneity of astrocyte populations in the central nervous system and how they contribute to proper brain function. The future potential for manipulating astrocytes in the context of brain diseases will also be discussed.
