The Grandir en santé modernization project: Call for proposals
Montreal, July 7, 2011 – As part of the Grandir en santé modernization project, the CHU Sainte-Justine and Infrastructure Québec have announced the call for proposals for the design, construction, and financing of the CHU Sainte-Justine’s two new buildings using the “keys in hand” concept. The five candidates, who have been retained following a call for tenders that began on December 14, 2010, are Équipe Ste-Justine, Groupe Immobilier Ste-Justine s.e.n.c., Consortium-Grandir En Santé-Ste-Justine, Partenariat Bâtir en Santé, and SNC-Lavalin Construction inc. The qualifying candidates have now been invited to submit a detailed proposal containing all of the technical and financial requirements.
The five candidates have until early 2012 to submit their proposals. This call for proposals is the second step in the selection process for a final candidate who will be contracted by the CHU Sainte-Justine for the construction of the new Specialized Units Building, the Research Centre, a multilevel underground parking facility, and a boiler house.
The announcement of the final selected candidate is expected to take place in winter 2012.
