The CHU Sainte-Justine Cardiac Science Department evaluates, and performs surgery on, patients with congenital or acquired cardiopathies.

The Cardiac Surgery Clinic performs surgery on newborn babies and older children. The clinic performs arrhythmia-related and other forms of corrective surgery (pacemaker installation and algorithm monitoring). Surgical techniques adapted to all ages are performed.
