The CHU Sainte-Justine Endocrinology Outpatient Clinic is open 3 1/2 days per week to diagnose and monitor patients aged 0 – 18 who are affected by endocrine disorders (pituitary, thyroid, adrenal, growth and puberty disorders).

Sometimes functional tests are performed in order to determine the cause of a problem.

The Monday afternoon clinic focuses in particular on children affected by the endocrine side effects of anti-cancer treatments.

Another specialised clinic is held on Thursday mornings to focus on children affected by bone metabolism disorders (osteoporosis resulting from cortisone treatments…).

The Department participates in various research protocols (adopted by the Research Ethics Committee) for which patients’ participation may be solicited, if necessary.
