Renal Transplant

The CHU Sainte-Justine Renal Transplant Clinic takes care of patients aged 0 - 18 who have undergone or will undergo a renal transplant.

Opened in 1974, the CHU Sainte-Justine Renal Transplant Clinic was the first paediatric clinic of this kind in Québec. The first transplant took place in 1976 and that patient’s transplanted kidney still functions properly today.

Since the beginning of the program, more than 300 transplants have been performed.
