Patients
The clinic takes care of infants born prematurely or with neonatal complications which can cause developmental problems.
Services offered
The purpose of the clinic is to detect as early as possible children aged 0 – 5 who may be suffering from a developmental problem.
Based on the needs identified requiring rehabilitation, a brief monitoring period is provided by clinic professionals.
If deficiencies remain and are significant (language impairment, motion dysfunction, overall developmental delay, cerebral motor dysfunction), the child is referred to a regional resource centre (CLSC, rehabilitation centre).
An evaluation report is sent to the patient’s attending physician and to the rehabilitation centre, with the parents' consent.
The neonatologist paediatrician may continue to see the child over a long-term period, in order to follow his/her evolution, analyse his/her needs and those of his/her family.

The composition of the interdisciplinary team may vary according to child's and the family's needs.
