Following a referral, the doctor's evaluation confirms the diagnostic and determines the proper treatments, thanks to:

According to the needs of the patient, the pneumology nurse will meet the patient and his/her family, in order to reinforce their understanding of disease and treatment prescribed by the Pneumologist.
If the patient requires the care of a specialist, the Pneumologist provides a follow-up in conjunction with the pneumology nurse. Otherwise, the patient is sent back to the family physician or paediatrician with the Pneumologist's written recommendations.
