Presentation: Ministerial Enteral Nutrition Program

The Ministerial Enteral Nutrition Program is intended for both children and adults living at home, who have a feeding disorder for which enteral nutrition cannot be reversed; and who meet the legal definition as stated in Article 1, Paragraph G of the Act to secure handicapped persons in the exercise of their rights with a view to achieving social, school and workplace integration.

"A person with a deficiency causing a significant and persistent disability, who is liable to encounter barriers in performing everyday activities."

The CHU Sainte-Justine oversees the management of home enteral nutrition supplies as mandated by the Ministère de la Santé et des Services Sociaux (MSSS), and also ensures the consistent delivery of required services to all disabled Quebecers living with a feeding disorder.

Our main principle is to ensure that technical aids and devices intended for this clientele remain universal, accessible and free of charge.
