Child asthma tools

The focus of our research and knowledge transfer endeavours is to improve the assessment, management, morbidity and quality of life of children with asthma. Our vision is that all children with asthma can achieve optimal asthma control and lead a normal and active life.

Take the opportunity to explore the tools we have developed and validated. Some of these tools were created for children and their family; others were designed for researchers and serve to advance research in children with asthma, including preschoolers. Finally, we developed several tools for health care professionals that are currently used in clinical practice across North America and Europe.

We also offer health care professionals and researchers the opportunity to complete an online teaching module on assessing the severity of acute childhood asthma using the validated clinical scoring tool named the Pediatric Respiratory Assessment Measure (PRAM).
