Our team of medical technologists, who are all members of the Ordre professionnel des technologistes médicaux du Québec OPTMQ) administer blood tests and functional tests on patients staying in the hospital or visiting our clinics as well as on outpatients.

The Test Centre is a walk-in service.

  • The Test centre is now open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to noon, without an appointment, for the clientele followed at CHU Sainte-Justine. The Test centre is closed on public holidays.
  • During your visit, it is necessary to bring your hospital card, your health insurance card and your laboratory request.
  • Analyzes for the laboratory of biochemical genetics and / or immunology can not be taken on the weekend.

  • Certain tests are administered by appointment only: See the list

  • Certain tests require that you follow specific instructions (ex: fasting) prior to your visit to the Test Centre: See the list
  • Upon your arrival, please take a number even if you have an appointment.
  • All test results are sent directly to your doctor as soon as possible.
