The day everything changed

Death of the baby and perinatal bereavement

From the very beginning of a pregnancy, everyone begins preparing to welcome the baby into their lives. In anticipation of the baby’s arrival, projects are undertaken and expectations, hopes, and dreams start mounting. The parents become attached to the developing child and imagine what the future might hold throughout the pregnancy.

The day these possibilities vanish is a real shock that can cause intense emotions.

It is difficult to find the words to express the pain and sorrow that parents go through when they are facing the death or imminent death of their baby. The whole thing can feel unreal.

We want to support you through this ordeal in any way we can.
