Uveitis

The CHU Sainte-Justine Uveitis Clinic treats inflammatory diseases of inner eye (uvea). Uveitis can be associated with a number of pathologies, including certain types of arthritis or other inflammatory diseases affecting organs away from the eyes, as well as infections. Treatments vary according to the severity of the disease.

Drops of cortisone are often used, although oral medication is sometimes needed.
