Quebec Ombudsman

Should you not be satisfied with the conclusions or recommendations received following a complaint, or if the conclusions were not sent within the 45-day timeline, you can appeal to the Quebec Ombudsman.

Medical Review Committee

In the case of a complaint against a doctor, dentist, pharmacist or a resident, or should you not be satisfied with the medical examiner’s conclusions, you have 60 days to appeal to the Medical Review Committee, appointed by the board of directors.

The complaint must be made in writing and mailed to:

The Medical Review Committee will reach a justified, final conclusion within 60 days. All complaints are handled with respect for the confidential nature of the user’s complaint record.
