    Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, University of Toronto

Hautieng Wu got its PhD from mathematics, Princeton in 2011 under the supervision of Professor Ingrid Daubechies. Before coming to mathematics, he got his medical degree from national Yang Ming University in Taiwan in 2003 and practiced there for 2 years. His research interest is massive data analysis; in particular, model nonlinear and no-stationary nature of modern datasets. His physiological interest ranges from heart rate variability analysis to coupling problem; his clinical interest include sleep/anesthesia dynamics, sleep apnea, ventilator weaning to disease seasonality analysis, etc.
