Details »

The CHU Sainte-Justine Allergology Department provides tertiary care services for patients aged 0 - 18 with allergies. In particular, it offers special care for the allergies of newborn babies. The department includes a number of clinics which deal specific allergies.

In order to screen patients for allergies, cutaneous allergy tests (intracutaneous and prick tests), oral challenge tests (food and drug allergies), and other special tests are offered, such as the desensitisation to wasp and bee venom, and to antibiotics.

The CHU Sainte-Justine Allergology Department also performs clinical research activities especially regarding the food allergies of newborn babies, as well as allergies to antibiotics.
