The CHU Sainte-Justine Department of Pediatric Surgery treats many different forms of congenital pathologies, trauma injuries, and common conditions in children 0 to 18 years of age. Some of the most common congenital pathologies include Hirschsprung’s disease; anorectal malformations; cystic lung lesions; abdominal wall defects (gastroschisis, omphalocele, and hernias); diaphragmatic hernias; and chest wall defects (pectus).
