The MIGO clinic (Clinique de médecine interne gynécologie-obstétrique) is for pregnant women living with a chronic health problem that requires follow-up care during pregnancy. The two nurse clinicians and four internist doctors working in the MIGO Clinic have extensive experience with a variety of conditions, including:
- Type 1 diabetes
- Type 2 diabetes or gestational diabetes
- Preeclampsia
- Chronic hypertension or gestational hypertension
- Dysregulation of the thyroid gland
- Pulmonary or renal problems
- And many more
This clinic can also offer pre-pregnancy and pre-operative counselling.
