Psychiatry Department

As part of its mandate as a teaching hospital and the specific function it will play within the Minister’s new action plan regarding the organization of mental health care, the Psychiatry Department offers a range of psychiatric services to children, teens, and their families, as well as pregnant women.

As such, the Psychiatry Department offers a large number of training activities to support front-line and secondary caregivers, as well as its network partners. Research is considered to be a priority focus, particularly in terms of expanding knowledge and improving the quality of health care.
